Paul, an internet sensation and YouTube celebrity who is now a YouTube celebrity, fought hard against Askren with an attack on Askren’s head and his body. Askren was a skilled wrestler, but was not regarded as a striker in his mixed martial arts career. He appeared to be stiff and somewhat robotic as he tried to discover how to compete with the younger, more powerful and agile Paul.
UFC fighter who was coached by Askren stated that Askren admitted that he would have been to settle for a draw in the case that the YouTube actor showed any boxing skill.
