India defeated Sri Lanka by three wickets in a nail-biting second One-Day International (ODI) to take a 2-0 lead in the three-match series on Sunday. Deepak Chahar was brilliant with both bat and ball. India were seven down at one point and needed 83 runs to win. Chahar then took the charge and delivered with the bat. He got to his maiden half-century and remained not out till the end. Earlier, after winning the toss, Sri Lanka posted a competitive total of 275/9. With the ball, Yuzvendra Chahal and Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked up three wickets apiece. Both teams will now meet on Friday for the third ODI at the same venue. (SCORECARD)
