The second season of Prime Video’s cult version of Robert Kirkman‘s comic book series Invincible will be released in the coming year. The news is based on an exclusive interview by Collider’s Steven Weintraub with Vernon Sanders, the head for Television in Amazon Studios, during a conversation on the success in Amazon’s The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, which was watched by more than 100 million viewers around the world, with over 24 billion minutes of content streamed.
Invinciblepremiered on Prime Video in March 2021 it quickly became one of the most popular series in the history of the streaming platform. It’s not surprising that Prime Video continued to renew the cartoon to Season 3. which gave the team that created the adaptation plenty of time to think about what stories they’d add to the series the following. But, despite the fans’ enthusiasm for the InvincibleSeason 2 we weren’t sure when the series would return.
In our conversation with Sanders when we spoke to him, we asked whether he could provide us with any news regarding season 2 of Invincible. Initial, Sanders tried to play in the background and said “2023 is going to be a great year for people.” But when we demanded more information and demanded a clear confirmation that the new episodes will be released at the end of 2023 Sanders said a affirmative “yes.” It’s official and it’s official. Invincibleis returning to 2023 in the form of Season 2. The next question is when the new episodes will be made available since we’re excited to see what will happen in the next episode of the show.
How do I become “Invincible” Concerning?
The story was written by Kirkman with artwork by Cory Walkerand Ryan Ottley, Invinciblefollows the adventures of Mark Grayson (voiced by Steven Yeun) as the character adjusts to the newly-awakened powers. The son of the world’s greatest Defender Omni-Man (voiced by J.K Simmons), Mark is supposed to be a formidable opponent, however, his path to become a hero full of blood sweat, guts, and tears. The first season of the show was a journey with Mark as he realized that his father wasn’t as good as people think and gave fans of superheroes the most entertaining “evil Superman” story ever made.
Although the show was criticized for its slow animation but the well-written script and the outstanding voice actors made us all smile. In addition, with Season 2 spending so long in the oven, the show is sure to provide us with an even better spectacle when it returns. The stellar voice cast of Invincible includes Jason Mantzoukas, Sandra Oh, Seth Rogen, Mark Hamill and Mahershala Ali. The voice actors have already been making episodes ever since April and it won’t be long until we have an exact release date.
