In the conclusion of this initial stage of elections in West Bengal now, a new entrance opened between the BJP along with Trinamool Congress – a tit-for-tat warfare of leaked telephone discussions. NDTV can’t independently check the authenticity of the tapes.

The BJP series was led at awkward Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee using a telephone where she’s supposedly heard requesting a former party employee to go back to the fold.

The party employee Proloy Pal is a believer of Suvendu Adhikari, Mamata Banerjee’s estranged aide, in Nandigram and ardently together with the BJP.

She supposedly urges him to assist Trinamool. He decreases.

Embarrassing, possibly, but nothing illegal in it.

Nevertheless, the alleged telephone conversation of two BJP leaders introduced by the Trinamool might harm the opposition party and damage the non-partisan place of the Election Commission.

According to the Trinamool, at a dialogue with BJP leader Shishir Bajoria, the celebration’s troubleshooter Mukul Roy requests him to add in a listing of things to be elevated together with the Election Commission. One very special request is all about polling brokers or booth representatives of political parties.

Booth representatives of a party who sit within polling booths on voting day are generally inhabitants of the stall area.

Mr Roy supposedly claims that the Election Commission must be asked to pass on administrative orders allowing any voter any place in Bengal to become booth agents in any booth at the nation.

If we do not do this, the BJP will not be in a position to field representatives in several stalls, Mr Roy is thought to have advised him.

Last week, the Election Commission passed an arrangement permitting Bengal voters to be more accepted representatives anywhere in the nation.

The Trinamool was requesting for this arrangement to be a celebration delegation, headed by MP Sudip Bandyopadhyay, fulfilled the commission Saturday to waive their petition Saturday.

Bengal reported 79.79 percent voter turnout at the very first phase of this 2021 meeting election which started this afternoon for 30 chairs.

In 2016 the Trinamool spanned 26 of the 30 seats available now.
