“I’m from Hawaii so I can relate to the character,” she said. “It was an absolute blast and I’m very happy that my first film was set in Hawaii. I already felt a connection to the place, and I got to be a part of a persona that grows more and more attached to the place…
“I had no idea what to expect, but it was a blast,” she added. “Everyone was super sweet and I feel like it couldn’t have gone any better.”
